In-product tooltips and popups have been used for decades to introduce and to explain features to users but are often seen as being too simple. Yet their design and style can impact adaption and usage significantly and is used to raise awareness and provide key information to users.
In this presentation, we will take a behind-the-scenes look at great examples of enhanced tooltips in various tools and learn how the development, UX, and UA teams collaborate to create, update and manage such tooltips.
This presentation will allow attendees to look at tooltips in a whole new way, from the perspective of a user but also from a technical communicator’s viewpoint.
